It's so hard to believe....but exactly one year ago today, we met Claire for the very first time. What a difference a year makes. We're looking forward to celebrating her "Gotcha Day" (the actual day she was ours forever) next week. Every day we feel so blessed and are so grateful that she is part of our family. I thought I'd share a few pictures of that very first meeting in Korea.
This was just moments after she came into the room with her foster parents.
I can't even imagine what she's thinking at this point.
Ben is just as excited today and he was in this picture to be her big brother (and a great big brother he is)!

Mr. Kang and Mrs. Lee, we think about you everyday and are so grateful that we've been able to stay in contact with you. I'm sure this anniversary is bittersweet time for you. We love you and look forward to seeing you some time in the future.

일년전 사진과 지금의 사진을 보니 그때가 눈에 선하네요.
데이브,크리스티나,벤과 우리가 만났을때가 벌써 일년전의 일이 되어버렸네요.
그때의 클레어 모습과 지금의 개구장이가 다 되어버린 클레어의 모습을 보니 세월이 얼마나 빠르게 흐른지를 알겠네요.
이제 예쁜꽃들이 만발하는 봄이 왔네요.
미네소타에도 봄소식은 전해졌겠지요.
만물이 생동하는 봄을 맞이하여 데이브,크리스티나,벤,클레어 모두 건강들 하시고
